Initial Final Major Project idea

DSC_0089.JPG.jpg

This is a section of work which I initially wanted to start my final major project with, but as i progressed it became more and more complicated so I decided to change my direction of work. It explored the ideas such as identity, expression and medicine as well as including ethical issues such as phobias, mental health (anxiety/depression) and social media. I kept this sketch book as more of a journal than an actual place of work in order to record all my thoughts and feelings through out the day and then see what i had recorded by the end of the day. I looked at things like mood trackers, my anxiety levels through out the day and when and where i felt most anxious or most withdrawn. For me it was a way to see how i processed my emotions as well as being aware of when I felt certain things, such as panic attacks about to happen and find a way to record them and stop them.

As I kept recording my day to day life I started to brain storm ideas for what I could produce for my final major project (FMP).

Above are images from the first sketchbook that started

The photos above were taken by a friend of mine Jamie Holloway for his project however the images were relevant to both of our work
